| A citywalk perfect for autumn. A Nanjing citywalk route that's perfect for the autumn 🍁, with lots of photogenic spots and Republic of China-era architecture that's absolutely stunning for pictures. Sleeping in until you wake up naturally and then spending half a day here for a citywalk is just right. 📋Route: Yihe Road → Xiqiao → Jinyin Street → Nanxiu Village → Taoxinzhuang Village → Pioneer Bookstore —————— 1⃣️ Yihe Road A walk down Yihe Road is like half a history lesson of the Republic of China. A stroll on a sunny afternoon is perfect, with the entire street lined with historical buildings from that era. The 🍁 plane trees cast dancing shadows along the road, and every snapshot is picturesque. The only downside was that the plane trees had not yet turned yellow during my visit. I recommend going in November. 2⃣️ Xiqiao A must-visit spot in Nanjing for a great view of the Zifeng Tower. The recommended spot is at the zebra crossing 📸. Just navigate to the north gate of Ninghai Middle School to get there. 3⃣️ Jinyin Street There are lots of snacks and creative stalls in the afternoon. In the morning, many are not yet open, and there's even a graffiti wall! I ordered a latte, which was delicious, though the service attitude wasn't great. 4⃣️ Taoxinzhuang Village There are several coffee shops, and I even stumbled upon a little Border Collie being 'punished' outside a flower shop, drawing a crowd. 5⃣️ Nanxiu Village A residential area with a real sense of life and some old buildings. Worth a visit as you pass by. 6⃣️ Pioneer Bookstore I didn't make it to the bookstore because I had to catch a high-speed train, but if you're on the way and have time, sisters can drop by to browse for books they like. —————— In the end, it was just right to go to Deji for dinner in the evening~~ A relaxed half-day tour that's not tiring at all!
