|. After arriving in Nanjing, my old classmate took me to a local restaurant. There was even an auntie welcoming us at the door, the service was very thoughtful! Old Nanjing Beef Stew This was the first dish we finished. The beef was cut into large pieces and stewed until it was soft and flavorful. I couldn't stop eating it! The potatoes inside had absorbed all the soup, they were soft and delicious. Wannan Stewed Meatballs The milky white meatballs were very cute! They were just the right size, so I didn't have to worry about not being able to finish one. The meatballs also had water chestnuts inside, which were crispy and fragrant, and added layers of texture to the dish! Hot Pepper Stir-fried Century Eggs I had always eaten century eggs as a cold dish before, so this was my first time trying them stir-fried. The taste was very unique, and they were fragrant and slightly burnt!
