Baima Park, which opened at the end of the last century, is now part of the Zhongshan Scenic Area and Xuanwu Lake Scenic Area, and is free of charge. In addition to an internet-famous coffee shop, there are more stone carvings that have been forgotten by people. 🐴 Baima Park was originally established and opened as the "Baima Stone Carving Park", where stone carvings scattered throughout Nanjing are preserved, mainly from the Ming and Qing Dynasties, as well as some from the Song Dynasty. Among them, the stone carvings of Kang Maocai, a meritorious official in the early Ming Dynasty in Anhuai Village, were also moved here. Because the location was changed, the original site was developed for urban construction after archaeological excavation. This is not part of the list of heritage sites affiliated with the Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum. 🪨 The relics of the Temple of Heaven in Nanjing, the stone carvings of the Shenyue Temple, and a stone carving from the Southern Song Dynasty are also preserved here, all of which are worth appreciating.
