Nanjing Travel Tips - Sifang Art Museum/Pukou Card.

Located deep in Laoshan, Sifang Art Museum has become an internet sensation due to its unique architecture and photogenic qualities. Previously, Sifang Art Museum was included in the Nanjing Annual Pass, but after becoming popular, it was removed from the pass and now requires a separate ticket (the museum is usually closed, so the regular ticket price is CNY 20, and CNY 40 during cherry blossom season). This year, Jiangbei in Nanjing launched a Pukou Card (CNY 168) that includes the museum, but after careful consideration, the card is actually not as cost-effective as the Nanjing Annual Pass. Sifang Art Museum is a great place to visit in spring and autumn. In spring, there is a cherry blossom avenue (you can see the best part of the cherry blossoms at the entrance without buying a ticket) and an impressive pear tree. You can drive directly to the museum, saving CNY 10 on parking, so even though the current ticket price is CNY 20, I still visit often. In autumn, there is a field of pink muhly grass, making it a rare and peaceful place in Pukou. Note: The photos were taken during countless trips with my child in spring and autumn.
