Cycling Around Sun Moon Lake in the Summer Breeze!

Cycling around Sun Moon Lake during summer is truly an amazing experience. The sunlight glistens on the lake's surface, creating a sparkling view that feels incredibly soothing. Riding along the lakeside bike path, you’re surrounded by crystal-clear waters on one side and lush green mountains on the other, with a faint scent of trees in the air that lifts your spirits. The route passes by Xiangshan Visitor Center and Shuishe Pier, where you can take a break, snap some photos, and enjoy a refreshing drink before continuing. My favorite part of the journey was the Crescent Bay section, where the scenery is absolutely stunning. After finishing the ride, I visited Ita Thao Old Street to explore and taste some local indigenous snacks, such as sausages and bamboo rice, which were full of regional flavor. Sun Moon Lake not only boasts breathtaking views but also has well-designed bike paths, making it a perfect choice for relaxing and rejuvenating during the summer.
