Nara Wakakusa Mountain, Enchanting Fallen Leaves..

Yesterday, I visited Nara Wakakusa Mountain. The maple trees have started shedding their leaves, and the thick layer of leaves covered the hiking trail. If you want to enjoy the fallen leaves, this is the place to be. There were hardly any tourists, making it perfect for portrait photography, as it felt like having the place to yourself. The entrance fee is 150 yen. You can choose to hike up from the South Gate, which is a beautiful trail. When the wind blows, the falling maple leaves create a stunning scene, allowing you to take photos without any interruptions. The wind is strong at the summit, so wear extra layers. You can enjoy a panoramic view of Nara City. Instead of retracing your steps, you can descend from the North Gate. Although this path is barren and lacks scenery, it leads directly to Mizutani Teahouse, which is also at its most beautiful now. I will post more about Mizutani Teahouse later.
