Wandering around Kofuku-ji Temple and the charm of Nara 🌧️

#OsakaItinerary Today's journey begins at Kofuku-ji Temple, an ancient temple that is one of Nara's most iconic attractions. At nine o'clock in the morning, I set out from Kintetsu Nara Station and walked for five minutes to Kofuku-ji Temple. The business hours here are from 9:00 to 17:00, and the last visit time is 16:45, which gives me plenty of time to appreciate every detail. Walking into the temple, the five-story pagoda looks particularly magnificent in the rain, and its reflection in Sarusawa Pond seems to be the guardian of history. I sat quietly by the pool, feeling the rain gently hitting the ground, my heart filled with awe and love for this land. Next, I visited the National Treasure Museum, which houses many Buddhist artworks, especially the Ashura statue, which gave me a deeper understanding of Nara's cultural heritage. After visiting Kofuku-ji Temple, I headed to Nara Park, where there are about 1,200 wild deer roaming leisurely in the park. These little deer are the symbol of Nara and are so cute! I bought some deer crackers in the park and gently fed these lovely creatures, my heart filled with joy. Next, I came to Todaiji Temple, the largest wooden building in the world. The huge Buddha statue inside amazed me. It was so spectacular! In the afternoon, I strolled along the east-facing shopping street, where there were many local snacks and souvenir shops, which allowed me to feast on their food. Finally, I sat in meditation at Kasuga Taisha Shrine, feeling the aura of the shrine. The lanterns around me looked particularly charming in the rain. This day trip made me feel the historical depth and natural beauty of Nara. Even in the rain, every moment here was unforgettable. Looking forward to returning to this charming land again! 💖🌈 #Osaka
