🌸 Nara Saho River – The Ultimate Low-Effort Cherry Blossom Walk

Compared to the famous spots in Kyoto: It’s more vibrant and densely packed than the Philosopher’s Path. Less crowded and more local than the famous Yodogawa embankment (背割堤). Best of all, you get both riverside and railway sakura views—stunning scenes for photography or a calm walk. 🚶♀️ Easiest & Most Scenic Walking Route (see reference to “图10”/Map Image 10) After walking the full area and testing different routes, I found that: Start at [Shin-Ōmiya Station (新大宮駅)]. Walk along the river until you reach [Kawajiro Tower (川路楼)]. This short stretch is only about 1 km and covers all the iconic cherry blossom scenery (both water and railway). It’s gentle, flat, and suitable for anyone—even those with limited mobility. #naturalwonders
