Pingxi Old Village - Taipei

#passionpassport The Pingxi Old Street has an old-world atmosphere. Along both sides of the railway on the slanted hillside are traditional houses untouched by modernity. Nearby business are traditional grocery shops, drink stalls and fruit shops. You can see the local residents’ humble life. When the train passes by through the old street, a rumbling and thunderous sound is inescapable. A very famous Taiwanese commercial was shot here.
