The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York

I love the Met. It was my first visit since the pandemic and the Met never disappoints. Everything felt safe and clean. The redone exhibits are absolutely gorgeous *especially* the Egyptian exhibit. The Indigenous exhibit is also beautiful. This is hands down the best museum I have ever been to. There is so much to see, so I'd recommend planning to be here 4+ hours at least. Pricing is affordable at $25/ticket for non-residents. Check online to see if any exhibits are closed, there were a few closed exhibits for New York's Met Gala event, which was disappointing because we weren't expecting that.
