NY Central Park’s Bethesda

Bethesda Fountain of the Central Park is one of the largest fountains in New York. The sculpture known as Angel of the Waters was commissioned as part of the original design of the park. It was significant in commemorating the opening of the Croton Aquedact that first brought clean water to the city. Meanwhile, intended to be the central meeting place in the park, Bethesda Terrace offers an amazing lake view and is also best for people-watching.
