NY Central Park’s Bethesda

Bethesda Fountain of the Central Park is one of the largest fountains in New York. The sculpture known as Angel of the Waters was commissioned as part of the original design of the park. It was significant in commemorating the opening of the Croton Aquedact that first brought clean water to the city. Meanwhile, intended to be the central meeting place in the park, Bethesda Terrace offers an amazing lake view and is also best for people-watching. The Arcade, which is the arched, interior walkway, has also been featured in many films and television. Perhaps now it is time to rewatch some movies to admire this iconic feature of the Central Park! #nyinsider #newyork

5th Avenue

I am always fascinated by the Flatiron Building - the triangular and steel-framed building completed 120 years ago in 1902. In fact, I am so amazed by it that I would walk around to try looking at it from different angles. In fact, in its earlier years, it was one of the most photographed buildings in the world. If you look northwards, it is not difficult to find the Empire State Building in your view. This another iconic building of the Big Apple stood as the tallest building in the world for 40 years until 1970. You can continue walking northwards along the 5th Avenue between Flatiron Building and Empire State Building, if you want to keep admiring the building. Look around too and see what other landmarks you can recognize. #nyinsider #newyork
