Co Tien / Angel Mountain Hike

This is a small mountain on the north side of Nha Trang. It's the most popular mountain that people hike in Nha Trang. It's probably the closest one to town. Quite often, people go here to camp overnight. The hike itself isn't too difficult if you only go to the first or second peak. The one after that is very steep and mostly made of rocks so, without proper shoes, it may be quite difficult. I highly suggest you go early morning as there are no big trees or any shade you can find refuge under when the sun is beating down on you. Mostly it's dirt and rocks. Make sure you bring plenty of water because it gets hot. If you take your time, it'll take you around 2-3 hours to go up and come back down, including time to rest and stop to take photos. When you make it up there, the view is amazing. You can see the beautiful, turquoise sea and most of Nha Trang, although the only downside is all the construction that ruins the view in some parts.
