Quai Lunel

#celebratewithtrip Nestled east of the hill park, Colline du Chateau, is Quai Lunel in Nice's Old Port. Down from Castle Hill, after passing the " I LOVE NICE " monument, we will see the Monument of the Dead from Rauba-Capeu, this monument from 1928 is dedicated to 3665 inhabitants of Nice who lost their lives during the First World War. The 32 meters high monument is considered the largest of its kind in France. A one minute walk, we will see a silver car facing the sea, it is the latest sculpture by Nice artist Stephane Cipre named " A Sunday in Nice". Quai Lunel is a great place to wander and find a restaurant for lunch and dinner with a view. The Old Port fills with yachts at any time of the year and is a great place to soak up the maritime atmosphere.
