Travel back in time to Edo

I went to Date Jidaimura, located very close to Noboribetsu Onsen, with my kids. They're at an age where they enjoy playing ninja, so I thought this might be a good place to go, and they were completely satisfied from start to finish. The shop staff and actors all seemed to have traveled back in time to the Edo period. A place like a period village with a solid concept is a win-win for those who have fun! It's also very popular with foreigners, and I heard a lot of things other than Japanese. It was so surprising.
