Noboribetsu Jigokudani in Hokkaido

Jigokudani presents a scene reminiscent of hell. Volcanic gases spew from the cracks in the rocks, accompanied by the smell of sulfur, swirling white smoke, and boiling hot springs, creating a stunning spectacle. There are also trails here for exploring the Jigokudani area. Every night, the 'Demon Fire Path' is illuminated, creating a fantastical atmosphere. In the summer, the 'Demon Fireworks Show' is held, featuring the demon 'Yukijin,' the guardian deity of Noboribetsu Onsen, who launches fireworks up to 8 meters high. A nighttime stroll through Noboribetsu Jigokudani is highly recommended.
