Where Land Meets Sea: Bruny Island’s Must-See Viewpoint

#springitinerary If you’re heading to Bruny Island in Tasmania, The Neck is a stop you can’t miss. It’s that super narrow stretch of land connecting the north and south parts of the island—and it looks absolutely unreal from above. We climbed the steps up to Truganinny Lookout, and wow, the view was next level. You get this epic 360° view with the ocean on both sides and the long curve of The Neck stretching out below. It’s one of those spots where you just have to stop and take it all in. The lookout is also named after Truganini, a significant Aboriginal Tasmanian woman, adding some powerful history to the place. It’s a quick stop but seriously unforgettable. Great for photos, even better for the views—so don’t skip it if you’re exploring Bruny! #tasmania
