Jofukuji Temple: A stroll-style garden for viewing

I visited Jofukuji Temple, a temple of the Soto sect in Obu City, Aichi Prefecture. Jofukuji Temple is the 6th temple on the Chita Shikoku Pilgrimage. It is said that the temple was founded when Taira Kagekiyo, who was defeated in the Battle of Dannoura, fled to this area and built a hermitage here. Kagekiyo died here, and his memorial tablet is said to still exist. The temple's main hall and Kobo-do Hall are both truly magnificent. There is also a bell tower. The Japanese garden with white sand and green pines was particularly beautiful. If you enjoy appreciating Japanese gardens, you should definitely visit.
