We entered the private pasture by pickup truck—a real local herder's land, free from crowded tourist spots. 3️⃣ The most stunning scenery is along the way. Several families joined us, and to relax while keeping the kids entertained, we opted for a family-friendly group tour. 4️⃣ For local specialties, buy unique foods at each stop: Hailar’s beef jerky, dairy products, and other Mongolian treats; Manzhouli’s Russian candies and chocolates; Genhe’s blueberries, mushrooms, and forest delicacies. 5️⃣ Avoid random roadside horseback riding. Choose licensed ranches, especially near Heishantou, where horses are trained, insured, and gentler. 6️⃣ Hulunbuir often has sun showers 🌦️, but they pass quickly—you might even catch a rainbow 🌈!
