Cat City

We left Miyajima and headed to Onomichi in the heavy rain. The rain had not stopped when we left the station. The hometown of the old couple in the old black-and-white movie "Tokyo Story" is a small port town located in Hiroshima Prefecture in southeastern Japan. The city is not big, so you can set aside a day to explore it. It’s rainy and you can’t just sit quietly at the harbor, soak up the sun and enjoy the sea breeze. Walking back and forth between the few shops on the commercial street, I was attracted by all kinds of novelty items and went into one shop after another. A shop. Then take the cable car through Senkoji Temple and climb to the observation deck to overlook the incomplete view of Onomichi in the rain and fog. On the way down the mountain, there is a [Cat's Narrow Path] full of cat elements. There are not many cats on rainy days, only a few scattered ones. The whole Onomichi feels like a deserted town, with almost no one around. Most of the people I saw were elderly people, as most of the young people had gone to big cities. But that doesn’t mean Onomichi is a gloomy place. It is a place that does not need any filters. It is beautiful and quiet. It is a comic book and a movie in itself. Onomichi
