It is an indoor antique complex where you can experience the changes in streets and life of Osaka from the Edo period to the Meiji-Taisho-Showa period. You can walk into Osaka in the late Edo period, during the Tenbo period (1830-1844), like a time travel drama. The street view will simulate the light of a day in ten minutes. Inside you can also sit on a tatami and enjoy classical theater, and there are many different performances and workshops for you to participate in. They said that the decorations here vary with different seasons, and that if you don't understand anything, there are volunteers called "machiya people" who will answer your questions and introduce the facilities in the museum. In addition to the real scene, they also have a number of different miniature models on the other floor to introduce you to the city of Osaka at different times.
