[Osaka Prefecture] Yasui Shrine, the final resting place of Sanada Yukimura

\\Tourist Spots// This is an ancient shrine that enshrines Sukunahikona-no-Mikoto and Sugawara no Michizane. It is located beside the national highway close to Tsutenkaku, but the grounds are very quiet and relaxing. It is said to be the place where the famous Sanada Yukimura was defeated in the Summer Siege of Osaka and was finally killed. There is a bronze statue and a stone monument. In the grounds of Yasui Shrine, there is also a pine tree called "Sanada Matsu" (the second generation), where Sanada Yukimura is said to have died. It seems to be a sacred place visited by many Sanada Yukimura fans.
