A park in Osaka

#thingstodo A beautiful place just to take a walk by the river, lie in the sun with a book, or take the family for a picnic. With the odd event here and there and also the rose garden. If you walk west along the river there are a number of historical points with signboards discussing the history of the area and the importance of the trade and markets that were once there. Nice for a bike ride and only a stones throw from the Tenma shopping arcade(the longest in Japan), Tenmangu shrine, the Osaka mint and of course Osaka Castle just to name a few.
