The first thing I felt when I visited here was the energy and warmth of the people. The nightlife with the glittering neon lights of Dotonbori, the everyday gourmet food such as kushikatsu and takoyaki, and the shopping streets filled with the lively Kansai dialect are all so Osaka-like that it was a city that somehow gave me energy. The historic Osaka Castle and the latest shopping spots coexist, and no matter how many times you visit, it has an appeal that you will never tire of.
