Alternatively, you can take the Nagahori Tsurumi-ryokuchi Subway Line to Osaka Business Park Station and walk for about 5 minutes. • Tips: The area around the castle tower is vast, so it is recommended to wear comfortable walking shoes. It is especially popular during the cherry blossom season in spring. ⸻ 📝 Personal experience Osaka Castle is not just a popular spot for tourists to check in, its history and grandeur are also impressive. The castle tower's exterior is spectacular with its white walls and gold decorations. It is a great place to take photos no matter what season you visit, especially in the spring when the cherry blossoms appear or in the autumn when the maple leaves turn red, which seem unreal. This time I entered from the Osaka Castle Park Station side, passing by the moat and stone walls along the way, and it felt like I had entered the Warring States Period. Although you need a ticket to climb up to the castle tower (about 600 yen for adults), the scenery is worth it as there are exhibits about Toyotomi Hideyoshi inside and you can also go up to the top floor to overlook the entire Osaka city. The park area is very large, with many locals having picnics, jogging, and even some people practicing kendo. It is an urban green space that combines history and life.
