🌊Osaka World Expo Blue Ocean Dome, a beautiful ocean journey🌊

My dears, I have to recommend the Blue Ocean Dome of the 2025 Osaka World Expo to you! 🤩 This super eye-catching circular building was designed by Shigeru Ban and Kenya Hara, it’s a dream collaboration! With "ocean regeneration" as its core concept, it aims to realize the "Osaka Blue Ocean Vision", which is to reduce plastic pollution to zero by 2050 🌍 When you walk in, the first thing that catches your eye is the huge water scene. The dynamic feeling of the water flow is very healing. There is also an ultra-high-definition hemispherical screen with a diameter of 10 meters, which plays images of the earth. The current state of ocean pollution is shocking. It consists of three dome branches: Dome A is built with laminated bamboo, symbolizing circulation, and the media area inside displays ocean-related programs; Dome B uses carbon fiber reinforced plastic, focuses on ocean issues, and takes you to an immersive experience of the ocean world; Dome C is built with paper tubes, focusing on wisdom and innovation. Moreover, after the construction is completed, the dome materials will be shipped to the Maldives for reuse, which is super environmentally friendly! An appointment is required for the visit, and it takes about half an hour to complete the tour. Located on the outer ring of West Gate, close to Gundam Hall.
