Help! After walking around Umeda until my legs were sore, I stumbled upon this old-fashioned tea house that's been open for over 40 years—truly a lifesaver! As you descend the stairs to the basement level, it feels like stepping into Harry Potter's Diagon Alley, with an incredible atmosphere. The ceiling is adorned with elegant angel lights, the seating area is surrounded by charming figurines, and the British-style cabinets are filled with exquisite tea sets that are almost too beautiful to use. Add to that the soothing music, and you'll feel instantly relaxed upon entering! The space is roomy and not crowded, and on regular days, you usually don't have to wait for a table. My favorite spot is the small table by the window—perfect for enjoying tea and reading a book in ultimate chill mode. The menu is available in both English and Japanese, offering dozens of varieties of British teas and milk teas to choose from! They also serve cakes, sandwiches, and pasta, making it ideal for breakfast or afternoon tea. If it's your first visit, you must try the 1,650 yen set, which includes a pot of tea, a sandwich, and a cream puff—great value for money! Remember to ask the staff to add hot water when your tea is about two-thirds finished, so the second pot won't taste too diluted. Next time I'm in Umeda, I'll definitely come back!
