Let's travel to Osaka🇯🇵

Osaka… The city that is like mochi in our hearts 🍡🩷 If there is any city that makes us smile every time we think of it, without much reason, Osaka would be it. It is not as flashy as Tokyo, not as peaceful as Kyoto, but it is just right, just right, just right, and just right delicious 😋 As soon as we got off the plane and stepped foot on Osaka, the smell of the air was different. A cool breeze blew gently as if the city was hugging us saying, “Welcome!” 🥹🍃 The train station connecting the airport to the city is also incredibly clean and orderly. It is not chaotic or rushed, but everything has its own rhythm. As we walked into the city, our hearts beat even faster and more excitedly. We chose to stay in Shinsaibashi because it was only a few minutes from Dotonbori. And of course… our first destination was the Glico Man sign, an Osaka landmark that everyone must take a picture of with their arms raised like a runner reaching the finish line. 📸🌟 The atmosphere of Dotonbori at night is very lively. Colorful neon lights, the sounds of restaurants, and the aroma of takoyaki Makes you feel like you're at a festival every day 🎏 Who would have thought that walking along the canal could feel this good? And then... the food! Osaka doesn't disappoint 💯 Starting with the famous Takoyaki that people queue for tens of minutes. But when I took my first bite, I immediately understood why I had to wait! The soft dough The squid filling is bouncy, the sauce is rich, and the bonito flakes are sprinkled on top of the round balls. It's delicious and cute at the same time. 🐙🧡 And then there's Okonomiyaki, or Japanese pizza that's freshly baked in a hot oven. The smell is so good that you have to close your eyes while eating it. It's so delicious that it melts in your heart. After exploring the shopping district and eating to your heart's content, we went to our favorite place Osaka Castle 🍁🏯 This place is soooooo beautiful. Not only the castle itself, but the surrounding gardens are also warm and peaceful. If you go during the changing leaves or cherry blossom season, it'll be like walking in a dream. There are uncles, aunties, students, couples and tourists taking pictures naturally. We decided to try renting a yukata and walking around the castle. And take a photo with trees, leaves, and even a very cute Japanese manhole cover. (Yes, a manhole cover!) The atmosphere around is so soft, it makes us feel like our lives are slowing down a bit. 🎀🍂 Another place that you can't miss is Universal Studios Japan (USJ) 🎡✨ Let me tell you, this is heaven for those who love fun and magic! The Harry Potter zone is the best~ When we walked into Hogsmeade Village, the theme song immediately came on, giving us goosebumps! Butterbeer, Hogwarts Castle, and the wand shop, everything was exactly like in the movie. 🧙♀️🪄 But what made us smile even more was the Super Nintendo World zone~ It was like we were really in a Mario game! Green pipes, mushrooms, coin boxes, ding ding sounds, everything was so bright and colorful! The kids were running around having fun, but we adults were jumping around and hitting coins like crazy. 555 🍄🎮 In the evening after returning from USJ, we went for a walk at Amerikamura, or what Thais call "America Mura" is a very cool Japanese youth fashion district~ There are second-hand shops, quirky cafes, and street fashion clothing stores. If you like vintage items or want to try Japanese fashion, don't miss it. And don't forget to stop by Don Quijote and the 100 yen shop! There are so many things. Cute items, strange items, and knickknacks are all gathered in one shop. You could spend hours walking around there without realizing it. 🧴🧼🧸 Before going back to Thailand, we took a quiet walk around our accommodation, grabbed some bread from a convenience store, and sat on a bench on the corner of the street to eat it, watching people walk by. Ordinary life in Osaka seemed so warm that we wanted to freeze time. 🕰️ ⸻ Osaka may not be a city with skyscrapers like Tokyo. It's not as quiet as Kyoto. But there are some things that make us fall in love easily without much explanation. Osaka is a city with smiles on every street corner. It's the takoyaki that's hot and soft in your hand. It's the neon signs that make your heart beat faster. It's the people who smile at you without even knowing each other.
