📍253 Munbal-ro, Paju-si, Gyeonggi-do 📍Everyday 10:00-19:00 (Closed on Mondays and Tuesdays) Maybe it was because I moved around so much in Seoul. I had a sudden urge, so I rented a car with a friend and went to Paju. Our first destination was the Mimesis Art Museum. The weather was cloudy, but even so, the museum as a building was quite beautiful. The graceful curves and the contrasting rustic colors. When I visited there, the exhibition was but since I came all the way to Paju, I decided to see the exhibition, so I went to the exhibition without any prior information. The strange mystery of the exhibition title stimulated my curiosity. The interior space was wider than I thought, and the wide space was used efficiently, and various genres of works were hung. There were some works that were somewhat difficult to understand, and some that were fun to examine in detail. There were also works with memorable colors, and works where the sizes of animals and people were reversed left an impression. After reading the pamphlet about what each artist intended, and savoring the exhibition, it was a memorable experience because it was different. Human figures and relationships, society, and the world beyond hyper-realism.
