#EmotionalCafe A pretty cafe is having a grand opening in my neighborhood. I was curious about what would be in the small space, but at some point, a banner was hung and I realized that it was a bakery. Since I usually enjoy eating bread, I had high hopes for a delicious bakery. Since it faces the back door of a convenience store, I got to know the bakery owner before it opened and shared small anecdotes with him. Is it because I helped them a little? During the opening week, they gave me some opening rice cakes? No, they even gave me some opening breads to try. I got a madeleine coated with lemon syrup and a financier with macadamia nuts on a green tea base. It was tastier than I thought~! So I made time next week to visit the store as a customer. There are two tables and a long bench where you can sit and wait after ordering. They also sell drinks, including coffee, milk tea, ade, and herbal tea. First, I ordered the most basic Americano and some of the breads on display in the showcase. I tried the coffee first. The owner explained the coffee beans first. He said it had a bit of acidity. First, it felt a bit light and the acidity wasn't that noticeable, so I didn't really care, but the coffee seemed a bit bland. You can ask for it to be a bit stronger depending on your taste. I ordered salt bread, vanilla/almond financier, and lemon madeleine. The owner said that the salt bread was a bit less moist. I also tried the breads. Despite the owner's greed, the salt bread was very moist on the inside and soft on the outside, so it was quite chewy. The vanilla financier with a strong buttery flavor was also soft and delicious. The financier with almonds is soft, and the madeleine is coated better than the one I gave you at first, so it has a sweet and refreshing taste. But the madeleine and financier have almost the same texture. I suggested that it would be better if the bread had more density and the texture was slightly firmer. Both have a texture like Castella, so they taste good, but it was disappointing that they quickly melted into my mouth. The texture of bread should vary depending on the type, and I think it would be more delicious if there were a difference. The smell of freshly baked egg bread stimulates my nose. I heard that lavender latte is the signature, and I was curious. So I chose lavender latte and egg tart for my second order. The lavender latte was the menu at Starbucks Reserve that came to mind, and it was exactly the same menu as expected. It was a version with almost no decoration, but I thought it would be good if there was some visual, like adding purple like Furano lavender? Or adding whipped cream? The taste is ice-only, so I think this would be a little stronger. The egg tart has less of the characteristic crumbly crispness because of the thickness of the pie that wraps it. The egg tarts are delicious only when the surface is as thin as possible. But overall, they are delicious. I was there for about an hour, and there are a lot of customers. The breads are sold out very quickly. There is also a coupon stamp system. The taste is honest. You can see that they use good ingredients without sparing anything. Thank you.
