Tad Khamud Waterfall

The Bolaven Plateau (Lao: ພູພຽງບໍລະເວນ, pronounced Phu Phiang Bo Wai) is a plateau in southern Laos, mostly in Champasak Province, and includes parts of Salavan, Sekong and Attapeu Provinces, and lies between the Annamite Mountains, which form a natural border between Laos and Vietnam to the east, and the Mekong River to the west. The plateau ranges in elevation from about 1,000 to 1,350 metres (3,280 to 4,430 ft) above sea level. The plateau is the source of many rivers and contains many beautiful waterfalls. The name Bolaven Plateau refers to the Laven ethnic group that historically dominated the region. However, population growth, particularly the Lao, who make up about 50 to 60 percent of the country, and internal migration have led to ethnic fusion that has changed the ethnic composition of the region. #NatureTourism #ForestTravel #RainySeasonForestTravel
