Hôtel Splendid Etoile, a hotel with a beautiful view of the Arc de Triomphe

Hôtel Splendid Etoile This is another hotel in our Paris trip that we were impressed by and would like to recommend one of the hotels with the most beautiful view of the Arc de Triomphe, which is "Hôtel Splendid Etoile", a 4-star hotel in the 8th arrondissement of Paris. The hotel's location is close to the Arc de Triomphe, and the highlight of the hotel is the room with a full view of the Arc de Triomphe. Location If you travel by train from the airport to the hotel, you can take the RER A line and get off at Charles de Gaulle – Étoile station. The hotel is only 250 meters from the station. Traveling within the city is convenient because there are both Metro stations and many bus lines that pass through. You can walk to the Arc de Triomphe and shopping at Champ-Élysées comfortably. Hotel The hotel is not very big. On the ground floor of the hotel, you will find a check-in counter, a small lobby, 2 small passenger elevators, and the hotel's breakfast room. The receptionists can speak English well. And take care better than expected Room There are 5 types of rooms here: Double Room, Classic Room, Superior Room with Balcony, Privilege Room with Direct View of Arc de Triomphe and Suite with Arc de Triomphe View. We stayed in the Superior Room with Balcony, which is the first room type that allows us to see and take pictures of the Arc de Triomphe from the room. We were very lucky that our room was very close to the Arc de Triomphe (the adjacent room is the Privilege Room with Direct View, which allows us to see the full view). The room size is 28 sq m, which is quite large compared to the standard size of rooms in Paris. The decoration is simple and the colors are easy on the eyes. Inside the room is a king-sized bed, a bathroom with a bathtub, and a balcony where we can go out to see the view and take pictures of the Arc de Triomphe all day long. The room rate in January (when we stayed) is around 300-400 euros/night, excluding breakfast (if you book in advance, you might get a better price). Overall, we were quite impressed with our stay here, both the clean and spacious rooms and the friendly staff. And most importantly, the beautiful view of the Arc de Triomphe, where we don't have to stand and compete to take pictures with other tourists.
