The dreamy and elegant Peninsula Paris Hotel

🏰 The Peninsula Paris is located at 19 Avenue Kléber, originally the Majestic Hotel which opened in 1908 and was the most representative hotel in France. Over the decades, numerous tycoons, celebrities, nobility, and magnates have left their footprints here, contributing to the endless charm of the revival of The Peninsula Paris. Following the end of World War II and the restoration of peace in Paris, in 1946 the hotel building became the headquarters of UNESCO, and in 1958 it was transformed into an international conference center under the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs. 🕍 In order to recreate its century-old splendor, The Peninsula Paris specifically hired an interior design team from The Peninsula Hotels Group, collaborating with Hong Kong designer Chhada Siembieda Leung Ltd's Leung Kwok Hoi; the restoration of the underground floors was managed by Richard Martinet of Affine architecture & interiondesign, leading numerous outstanding French craftsmen to restore the building to its original state using traditional methods. Today, travelers can admire the sculptures on the hotel's exterior walls, meticulously restored by 20 heritage restoration masters; or experience the wood panels in the hotel lobby and bar, refurbished by woodworking restoration experts Atelier Fracelli. 🏛 The Peninsula Paris also showcases traditional French craftsmanship in its interior decor, with materials, inlays, metalwork, stained glass, and other furnishings all designed and produced by top French professional restoration companies. In the guest rooms, chairs and footstools by Rosello, as well as sofas and bed frames designed by Laval, highlight the modern Parisian artistic flair. 🏤 After four years and an investment of 3.1 billion RMB in restoration, it has become the first Peninsula Hotel in Europe. To complete the restoration, France's most experienced designers, artists, and craftsmen were specially recruited, many of whom had participated in the restoration of the Louvre, the Palace of Versailles, and various French châteaux. 🛋 The hotel boasts 200 luxurious rooms, including 93 suites. The Peninsula Paris 🖼 themed suites are inspired by haute couture luxury goods, with some of the suites' spacious areas being among the most prominent in Paris and even among the most highly customized suites in the world, showcasing French 🏇🏻 traditional culture and vibrant design to the fullest. 🏛 The hotel has three of the most beautiful restaurants in Paris Le Lobby, a classic French restaurant decorated in the style of the Palace of Versailles. L'Oiseau Blanc, the famous lark restaurant with a glass roof offering a 360-degree unobstructed view of the Eiffel Tower. LiLi, a Cantonese restaurant created in the style of Chinese opera by a Hong Kong chef.
