A miniature of the arc de triomphe? 👀

#traveldiaries After my visit to the Louvre, I stepped outside and was immediately drawn to the beautiful Arc de Triomphe du Carrousel, standing proudly just opposite the museum. It reminded me of the larger Arc de Triomphe, but this one felt more delicate and detailed. Built to celebrate Napoleon’s victories, its arches are adorned with intricate carvings and statues, making it a true masterpiece. The chariot on top gleamed in the sunlight, adding a majestic touch. I loved how it perfectly framed the entrance to the Tuileries Garden behind it. It’s incredible to think of the history it represents, and I couldn’t help but admire its elegance as I stood there, taking in the view after a day at the museum.
