🇫🇷 Les Invalides in Paris — Day and night, modern and classic beauty

It's not featured as a "must-see spot" in many guidebooks, but when you actually visit, you'll be amazed by its magnificent beauty. We visited twice, once during the day and once at night, and each time had a completely different charm! 🌙 Les Invalides at Night - AURA INVALIDES Light Show 🌟 One of the most moving experiences of my trip to Paris! Even if you're not particularly interested in military affairs, I definitely recommend the night light show! ✅ The only public area is the "Dome Church". The museum is closed. ✅ If you want to see Napoleon's tomb, this night show is enough! ✅ No toilets!! (Be careful) ✅ No same-day tickets are sold! Tickets must be reserved in advance from the official website 🎟️ (22 euros) ✅ No seats. Everyone is standing, but you can sit on the surrounding stairs (but visibility will be affected) ✅ The screening lasts about 50 minutes. It starts exactly at the start time, so we recommend arriving with plenty of time (ticket check & security check) ✅ The start time depends on the season. • Winter (gets dark early) → 19:00 onwards • Summer (gets dark late) → After 22:00 🌞 Les Invalides by Day – Museum & Church Tour 🏛 The daytime is the time to immerse yourself in the architecture and history! There are many spots to visit, so we recommend taking your time to explore. 🎟️ Ticket information ✅ Admission fee 15 euros (Museum pass can be used, no reservation required) ✅ There are two entrances • 129 Rue Grenelle (10:00-18:00) • Place Vauban (14:00-18:00) ⚠️ If you try to enter from Place Vauban before 14:00, you will have to go around the huge grounds! Be careful ⚠️ 🔹 Main spots ✅ Round-headed Church (Église du Dôme) – Where Napoleon's tomb is located! ✅ Saint-Louis Church (Église Saint-Louis) – A church for soldiers. • The military flag brought back during the Boxer Rebellion is also on display. ✅ Military Museum (Musée de l’Armée) – A comprehensive exhibition where you can learn about weapons, military uniforms, and the history of war! ✅ De Gaulle Museum – exhibits related to the French hero Charles de Gaulle. ✅ Musée des Plans-Reliefs – displays military strategy models from the 17th century. ✅ Musée de l’Ordre de la Libération – exhibits related to World War II. 🎈Summary – Which is better, day or night? 💡 If you’re interested in Napoleon’s tomb and history → daytime! 💡 If you want a spectacular visual experience → AURA INVALIDES at night! Both have different charms, so if you have time, it’s best to visit both day and night!
