#summervacay Stepping into Galeries Lafayette felt like walking into a glamorous palace that just happened to be obsessed with fashion. The first thing that hit me was the jaw-dropping glass dome overhead—seriously, it looked like a giant stained-glass cupcake topper sparkling above the perfume counters. Everywhere I turned, there were displays more beautiful than the last, from designer handbags that cost more than my entire wardrobe to glittering jewelry that practically begged to come home with me. Even the escalators looked fancy, like they were designed for runway entrances instead of regular shoppers. We wandered through endless levels of stylish temptation, pretending (just for a moment) that our shopping budget had no limits.
