Penghu Attractions-Erkan Ancient House Erkan Historic House is located in Xiyu Township, Penghu. This ancient house has a history of nearly a hundred years and is owned by the Chen family. It was built in the year before the Republic of China and took two years to complete. According to legend, it was built on the "Cow Navel Point". It is a fusion of southern Fujian style and Erkan characteristics. "Two-story and eight-story beechwood" is a large Minnan-style house. Using local corundum and basalt as building materials, It is decorated with painted tiles, stone and wood carvings.
