Exhibition name: "The Pearl of the Age of Discovery - National Treasures of the National Palace Museum Gathered in Penghu" Exhibition period: 2025/5/17 ~ 2025/8/17 Location: Special Exhibition Room on the second floor of Penghu Living Museum Ticket price: Adults NTD 80 / Students NTD 30 (Foreign student ID is also OK) / Penghu residents free Opening hours: Thursday to Tuesday 09:00-17:00 (closed on Wednesdays) 🌊 The exhibition also displays many cultural relics from the Ming and Qing dynasties, including: Export blue and white porcelain, lacquerware, pottery pots, ship tinware, etc. Unearthed objects + real route maps + historical unsolved cases 👉 The point is: all these cultural relics are from the National Palace Museum in Taipei and are directly transported to Penghu for exhibition! 🎠 There is also a children's interactive area on the first floor, with LED lights showing Penghu fisheries and festivals, suitable for parents and children to have fun together and take a break with air conditioning. The overall experience exceeded expectations, and it is a must-have for cultural and artistic travelers! 🚢 The main exhibition on the second floor is divided into permanent exhibitions and special exhibitions: introducing Penghu history, aboriginal culture, religious rituals, fisheries, natural ecology, etc. It is richer than you can imagine! Very realistic sense of "local + life" 📍Afternoon: Wandering around Erqian Village & eating local food 🏘️ Ride your motorcycle all the way to [Erqian Village] - this is a very low-key but very flavorful small village The biggest feature is the ancient house of Gugu stone. The whole stone wall is hand-built with limestone picked up from the seaside The alley is very lively, and I saw grandma sitting at the door peeling peanuts🌾 📸 The photos are really super good, no need to retouch the photos, as long as the weather is good, the light and the architecture have a texture There are also many renovated small cafes and workshops hidden in the alleys, which are very local 🍜 Lunch at "Second Sister's Home": ✔️ Small squid noodles: super fresh, the soup is sweet and fresh ✔️ Squid cheese balls: crispy and stringy, very healing when bitten ✔️ The store has air conditioning, spacious seats, friendly service, and the CP value is off the charts! 🍧 It was hot in the afternoon. After wandering around the village for an hour, I finally had "milk taro shaved ice" and "almond tea" under a tree. The shaved ice had a rich milky flavor and a delicate and dense taste.
