The museum’s collection consisted largely of statues—silent sentinels of the past—each bearing the artistic and spiritual imprint of a bygone era. Among them were pieces originating from Angkor Wat, their intricate carvings whispering stories of an empire that once flourished. The experience was brief, lasting only about 30 minutes before the tour concluded. While the museum’s treasures were undeniably rich in cultural significance, I found myself wishing for more context, perhaps a deeper dive into the narratives behind each artifact. Nonetheless, it was a worthwhile stop, offering a glimpse into Cambodia’s artistic and spiritual heritage within a condensed timeframe.
