Standing at the 'Center of the World' to Feel the Pulse of History ~ Delphi Archaeological Site

Delphi, located about 120 kilometers northwest of Athens, is the site of the Oracle of Apollo and was considered by ancient Greeks to be the center of the world. Its archaeological site was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1987. The ruins of Delphi date back to around 1400 BC, but the site was not excavated until 1892, gradually revealing its current appearance. Today, Delphi is a small town that relies on tourism, attracting visitors who come to explore the famous archaeological site. This trip included visits to the excavated ruins of Delphi and its archaeological museum. The most awe-inspiring sights were the ruins of the Temple of Apollo from the 4th century BC and other ancient relics. Walking along the Sacred Way was truly inspiring.
