🌴 Phu Quoc: 2 Months on the Island — Final Thoughts Before Leaving ✈️

My time in Phu Quoc has come to an end. Two months on this island flew by, but now it’s time to move on. Very soon, I’ll be heading to a new country, but for now, here are my final thoughts on living in Phu Quoc. ✅ What did I like the most? 1. Laid-back lifestyle. It’s easy to forget about the hustle, listen to the waves, and simply enjoy the moment. 2. Sunsets & nature. Every evening is a free natural show, and it never gets old. 3. Food & markets. Phu Quoc is a paradise for seafood lovers and exotic fruit enthusiasts. 4. Work-life balance. Mornings can be productive for work, while afternoons are perfect for exploring the island. ❌ What wasn’t so great? 1. Infrastructure. The island is still developing, and there’s no public transport. A scooter is the only convenient way to get around. 2. Rising prices. Phu Quoc is becoming more popular, which means higher rent and food prices in tourist areas. 3. Limited entertainment. After a couple of months, the island starts feeling predictable—most key places have been explored, and a change of scenery is needed. Phu Quoc was a perfect reset for me—a place where I found inspiration, peace, and balance. But the most important part of the digital nomad lifestyle is movement.
