When it is surrounded by clouds and mist, it looks like a heavenly palace. 2️⃣Danxia Landform: Hundreds of millions of years of volcanic rock peaks, natural landscapes such as the "Lingtong Buddha" and the "Beaded Curtain Waterfall". 3️⃣Sea of Clouds and Sunrise: Climb to the top of Qingtian Peak (1,287m above sea level) in the early morning to overlook the churning sea of clouds, which looks like a fairyland. 🚶‍♀️Tour route: ▫️One-day light hike (3–4 hours): Qingyun Temple Parking Lot → Yunti Quyue Plank Road → Lingtong Temple → Beaded Curtain Waterfall → Tongtian Platform (watch the sunset) ▫️Challenge route (5–6 hours): Yuping Cave Entrance → Carp Lake → Lingtong Buddha → Lion Peak overlooking the sea → Qingtian Peak (professional equipment required) 🚗Transportation recommendations: ▫️Self-driving: Navigate to "Lingtong Mountain Qingyun Temple Parking Lot". The parking fee is CNY 10/day. Be careful as there are many bends on the mountain road. ▫️Public transportation: • Take the high-speed train to Zhangzhou Station/Yunxiao Station, then transfer to the scenic spot shuttle bus (approx. 1.5 hours). • There is a direct bus from Zhangzhou West Bus Station to Daxi Town, and then take a taxi to the scenic spot (approx. 30 minutes). 🏨Accommodation recommendations: ▫️Wangshangu Homestay (mountainside): You can see the mountain when you open the window. It provides catering and free parking. The cost is CNY 150/person per night. ▫️Linglonggu Cliff Homestay: Hidden in the forest, you can see the sea of clouds when you open the window. It is suitable for photography enthusiasts. 🍜Food surprises: ▫️Daxi Dried Bean Curd (made and sold on the spot) ▫️Beef Intestine Rice Noodles (glutinous rice sausage with secret sauce) ▫️Egg Pancake (poke it open and pour in soy sauce, crispy and juicy) 🍵Recommended teahouse: "Lingxiang Pavilion" at the entrance of the scenic spot, where you can taste local alpine tea. ⚠️Precautions: 1️⃣During the rainy season (April–May), the waterfall has a large amount of water, and it is easy to see the "Beaded Curtain Waterfall" spectacle. 2️⃣Hiking shoes are essential, and some stone steps are covered with slippery moss. 3️⃣The temperature difference at the top of the mountain is large, so it is recommended to bring a windproof jacket. 4️⃣There are no restaurants in the scenic area.
