CATHERINE PALACE

Catherine Palace, also known as the Summer Palace, was built during the reign of Peter the Great between 1717 and 1723. It served as a summer retreat for his beloved wife, Catherine I. The palace features only two colors: blue and gold. The gold represents Catherine's hair, while the blue symbolizes her eyes. Wow!
