A Village Not Found on Maps, Dongmakgol

In Pyeongchang's Mitan-myeon, there is a filming location for the movie 'Welcome to Dongmakgol'! The pure-hearted villagers and the warm atmosphere depicted in the movie still linger in my memory. The 'Welcome to Dongmakgol' movie set is a recreation of a mountain village in the Taebaek Mountain Range during the Korean War in June 1950. For those familiar with the movie, it will surely bring back fond memories. Taking photos with the set as a backdrop feels like traveling back in time, blending perfectly with the autumn scenery of Pyeongchang. The pictures turn out amazing! However, it's a bit disappointing that apart from the main set, some areas are not well-maintained, with signs of damage and neglect. Wishing you a happy trip to Pyeongchang!
