🌊🚗 Qingdao Self-Driving Adventure: Tour of the Former German Prison and Naval Museum 🏛️🌟

#September2024 🚗🏛️ Qingdao self-driving tour diary 🌊🚙 Today's itinerary was particularly rich. We visited two unique attractions in Qingdao, namely the Qingdao German Prison Site Museum and the Chinese People's Liberation Army Navy Museum! First, we came to the Qingdao German Prison Museum. The museum is located at No. 23 Changzhou Road, Shibei District, Qingdao City. It was built in 1900. It was a prison specifically for detaining non-Chinese prisoners during the German occupation of Qingdao. We spent $25 to experience a "prison tour". This building, which has a history of over a hundred years, is no longer an ordinary prison, but an experience place designed for tourists. Through this trip, we understand that peace is hard-won and we should cherish our present life. Afterwards, we came to the Chinese People's Liberation Army Navy Museum which was not far away. It is open to the public free of charge, but reservations must be made in advance through the mini program. The museum showcases China's military prowess, the facilities inside are absolutely amazing, and many of the displays are usually difficult to see elsewhere. These two attractions are easily accessible by car or public transportation.
