The hotel building is built by the sea and is located at the highest point of Qingdao's "Little Manhattan" building complex. The sea is across the road, and if you are not too pretentious, you can go into the sea to play in the water. These geographical advantages account for an estimated 50% of the house price. The hotel lobby is on the 58th floor, and the interior decoration and furnishings are up to the standards of a luxury brand. This was our first time staying at St. Regis. We booked their Cloud Twin Room, which was later upgraded to Badaguan Sea View for free. The room was comfortable overall except for the lack of air conditioning and the smart toilet being a bit fiddly. The breakfast room is not big, but the food is quite rich. My child is 1.6m old, but he was not charged extra for breakfast, and he could taste one of the Laoshan four-piece sets for free. However, if you are not traveling by car, it is not recommended to stay at the St. Regis, because the transportation is really inconvenient. It takes nearly 1 kilometer or more to walk to the subway station, and it is not convenient to hail a taxi. The so-called infinity pool is actually just that, very small, and the pictures on the internet are all fake. It would be a very good choice for high-level guests to stay at the St. Regis Qingdao as a supporting hotel and the Haitian Hotel next door as a conference hotel. If you travel by yourself, there should be something more suitable. It is said that the brand feature of St. Regis is that it provides butler service, and can assign a private butler to each guest. From the actual experience, I don't know if it was because it was the peak season in summer, but I never saw a butler. I also don't know if there is no butler in the St. Regis in China, or the room type I booked was not up to the standard. Of course, I still have to praise the hotel's service, which is really excellent. The staff are very active, proactive and professional. I believe that if you stay in the non-peak season, the experience will be better.
