The Romance of Qingdao Between Mountains and Sea

The old buildings in Qingdao resemble those in Prague, but near Laoshan in Shazikou, I discovered a beach that strikingly resembles the Amalfi Coast in Italy. On the cliffs of the hillside opposite the coast, colorful houses are densely packed, while countless Siberian seagulls soar above the beach. With the azure sky, pristine white clouds, and waves rolling onto the sandy shore, it feels just like a scene from a movie.
