Qingdao Zhongshan Park Flower Valley

Flower Valley, a name full of poetry. This was my first time accurately finding this valley blooming with flowers. To be more precise, this was a quarry decades ago—a large pit dug beneath the cliffs, now filled with vibrant flowers and plants. It's a great idea for hiking, fitness, oxygen-rich air, flower appreciation, and environmental beautification. On a cloudy summer day before the rain, the air was fresh, with a gentle breeze and white butterflies dancing gracefully under the green shade. Location: Enter through the main gate of Zhongshan Park, walk straight, turn right onto the Double Cherry Blossom Avenue, and continue uphill. The hill is neither high nor steep. Follow the scenic signs, and you'll arrive straight ahead. Flower Valley is also a stop for the park's sightseeing shuttle. To the left of Flower Valley, there's a signpost. Follow the arrow → towards the Beech Forest Mountain, and you'll see colorful hydrangeas blooming on both sides of the path. The Taiping Mountain Cableway overhead adds to the scenery. Now is the perfect time to admire the flowers—hurry up for photos and check-ins!
