| The best choice for a healing homestay. Jiuhua Mountain is home to many ancient temples and is best explored over at least three days and two nights. Tourism has shifted from traditional sightseeing to experiential tourism. This time, I went up the mountain with a friend and stayed quietly for four nights. I spent most of my time in the Minyuan Scenic Area in the back mountain, but I also visited the Huacheng Temple, the founding temple of Jiuhua Mountain, and the Moonlight Bodhisattva Hall, where the body of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva is enshrined. I only visited one destination every half day, spending most of my time walking slowly, feeling the tranquility and leisure of this small town, the devotion of the nuns in the Minyuan ancient nunnery, and the babbling streams in the back mountain.
