Taohua Lake is essentially a reservoir. Its former name was Longxudai Reservoir🧐. In spring, there will be many peach blossoms blooming around it🌸, so it was renamed "Peach Blossom Lake"😉. Although we can’t see the peach blossoms now, we have to admit that when the weather is clear, the scenery of Taohua Lake is very similar to the landscape of Guilin😍, just like a paradise on earth, which is really refreshing😃! Whether you are driving around the lake🚗 or drinking tea in a homestay by the lake🍵, it is super cozy and comfortable🤩. Because Taohua Lake is in the mountains, you can only drive there, so not many people come here😉. The area of ​​this lake is not large, and the scenery in all directions is similar🤔. If you just come here for sightseeing, one afternoon is enough. Moreover, it is not recommended to make a special trip to Taohua Lake. You can plan the trip to Taohua Lake and Yingxi Peak Forest together, just like we did, first go to Yingxi Peak Forest (the distance between the two is not far), and then stop by Taohua Lake 😉. There are many homestays here that are built along the lake, and each one is very exquisite🤩. I think many people come here just for these homestays🤔. You can enjoy the beautiful lake view in the room or on the balcony, which is really super romantic💕 and especially suitable for taking photos and checking in📷. However, after taking a rough look at it, I found out that the price of homestay here is not cheap 😅. We didn't stay here. We originally planned to have afternoon tea at Taohua No. 1, but unfortunately there was no afternoon tea available that day😔. Finally, with the administrator's consent, I took some photos. This homestay is right by the lake, the scenery is so beautiful, it's really amazing🤩! If you have the chance, you must come and stay here😉. Location information: Taohua Lake is located in Jintan Town, Qingyuan City. You can find it by navigating to Taohua Lake directly. Transportation: If you drive from Guangzhou, it will take about 2 hours. Ticket situation: No tickets are required here🎫 Meal choice: I originally wanted to go to a farmhouse with a relatively high rating on the platform. Later, when I was driving, I passed by one (Taohua Lakeside Farm) and found that the scenery of this farm was particularly good. It was right by the lake and parking was also very convenient, so I decided to dine here on the spur of the moment 😉. Overall, the food tastes pretty good. It’s great to be able to enjoy the food while looking at the beautiful scenery. 🤩
