Qingzhou smiled.

Qingzhou Museum is a national first-class museum on the same level as the Forbidden City, and has three treasures. One is a jade bi of Yi Zisun from the Eastern Han Dynasty, and the other is a top-ranking essay in the imperial examination of the Ming Dynasty. The entire piece has more than 2,000 words, written in one go without any erasures. Another one is the Buddhist statues in Longxing Temple. In 1996, more than 600 Buddhist statues from the Longxing Temple were unearthed in Qingzhou. They date from the Northern Wei Dynasty to the Northern Qi Dynasty and all the way to the Northern Song Dynasty, a period of more than 500 years. They used a variety of techniques such as line engraving, relief, openwork, and flat carving, and have extremely high artistic standards. This is an exhibit that Western scholars call a major discovery in the history of Eastern art. Although there are some variations in style and technique, they all have one common feature, that is, there is a faint smile between the Buddha's eyebrows, eyes and lips. One of them is called the "Qingzhou Smile". These Buddha statues are graceful and smiling, and the moment you see them you feel like you are meeting someone again after a long separation. There is a kind of energy flowing between the eyes that look at each other. That smile spans thousands of years, but makes you feel warm and familiar.
